I can also run hostapd, but there is no /etc/init.d/hostapd

same with dnsmasq. Perhaps in opensuse they are in different directories?

I also searched for the hostapd.conf file, but I could not find it, only my own default file (which doesn't work). I tried to look in your code but I couldn't find where it is being stored.
