I still can't reproduce this *headdesk*. Would you like to try compiling the branch with the log output, hoping that we get more useful info from there?

This is what you need to do:

sudo apt install bzr cmake g++ gcc gettext libboost-dev libboost-regex-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-test-dev libglew-dev libpng-dev libsdl2-dev libsdl2-image-dev libsdl2-mixer-dev libsdl2-ttf-dev python zlib1g-dev

bzr branch lp:~widelands-dev/widelands/bug-1818494-fieldstodraw-assert
cd bug-1818494-fieldstodraw-assert
./compile.sh -w
