Bug Description

In the barbarian tribal encyclopedia, it is written that the battle ax is produced in the ax workshop. It is a mistake; it is actually produced in the war mill.

king of nowhere was talking about the "Purpose" text (see the second sentence there).

Ah, ok. That should be trivial to fix... may one could go through all other wares and check the contents? Such texts are stored in tribes/wares/WARENAME/helptexts.lua, f.e. for the ax_battle it is http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~widelands-dev/widelands/trunk/view/head:/tribes/wares/ax_battle/helptexts.lua

I found that while working on the translation, so I will eventually go through all of them.

Thanks for reporting. This should be rather straight-forward to correct. :)

how do i report them on transifex? i only know how to make comments in the italian version, but it's unlikely someone will read them because they aren''t very visible. ok, i'll use this bug if i find more such mistakes in the future

If you mark your comments as an issue, GunChleoc will be notified, I think. Also, it will be possible in all languages, so other translators can see that something's wrong.

What #8 said - just add your comment as an issue, and I will be notified. I also periodically go through all issues to implement the fixes.

Once a string has been changed, it will disappear from transifex inclidung any discussion attached to it. So, if you think the discussion should be available on the internet permanently, a bug here is more appropriate. If the discussion can go once a fix has been implemented, opening an issue on Transifex is fine. Also, if you are aiming to get input from other translators, Transifex is the better option, because many don't follow this bug tracker.

Just a question concerning the comments on Transifex: Are they always visible to all translators or is there a possibility to limit them to only one language (e.g. only visible to German translators)?

I have seen an SK translator replying to a DE question, so they are always visible. They come with a language label though.
