Transifex supports all kinds of file formats. So, how about storing each language's translators in a simple, separate text file? I know we want to get away from the config file format, but I guess such files would be easy to parse? Maybe we could parse them in Lua directly - if each locale has its own file. it will contain a string where we will only need to take care of line breaks.
I could also upload lua files to Transifex, but they would be treated as simple text files, so the coding part if it would appear.
