I observed this in current trunk, bzr6512.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new map in the editor.
2. Open the main menu and click on Map Options
3. There is a field saying "no description defined", but there appears to be no way to edit this field. In particular, clicking on it does not make a cursor appear, and hitting keys on the keyboard does not change the description.
