I'm seeing a defunct dhcpcd process here as well. I thought it might have been something peculiar about dhcpcd-3.2.x, but I'm also seeing it with dhcpcd-5.0.6. I don't even know where to begin looking for the problem -- I don't see any obvious issue with how wicd calls dhcpcd...
