Hi. I just got online 10m ago from Leuven, Belgium.

I saw the email Karen wrote me,

The problem is, I have no idea what Karen means by "broken". Was DNS failing? Was the web server reporting "Connection refused" when you tried to connect to it? Did the wiki report MySQL failures? Did the wiki load but was it replaced by messages from Turkish nationalists? When you went to the subdomain, did it say, "Door is baroquen. Please wiggle Handel"?

Oh, actually, I take it back - the server monitoring stuff told me that the web service was "not available". Unfortunately *I* have no better logs as to what was wrong. It looks from here like the web server got "stuck" for a while starting at 9:16 PM 2007-06-08 Japan Time and ending 11:47 PM 2007-06-09. That's a really long time, and it seems to only have affected the web service, so maybe there was a problem that restarting Apache would have fixed.

When I plan to be online sooner, I'll look into this a little more. I am sorry about it! )-:

During the times I reported, did regular www.freeculture.org work? If so, it could have been a PHP-related thing (my guess is it was).
