I have the same symptoms as the OP. A look at the log gave me this:

[MainThread] 2014-01-09 18:27:51,881 - ERROR - Location: error reaching url 'http://where.yahooapis.com/geocode?flags=J&location=Luxembourg%2C+Luxembourg%2C+Luxembourg&appid=mOawLd4s'
[MainThread] 2014-01-09 18:27:51,881 - ERROR - Assistant: Page 0: City with code Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, Luxembourg was NOT found

It looks like there was a problem reaching the URL. Trying to reach it through the browser gave a 404.
