Hi Kyran! Thanks for the reply!

No, it doesn't say anything about detecting the CD.

When installing the package:

Setting up wargus (2.2.5.5-1ubuntu1~natty) ...

Then a windows opens asking to extract Warcraft II data now. I choose Yes. Then:

Extracting data from /media/cdrom to /usr/share/games/stratagus/wargus
cdparanoia III release 10.2 (September 11, 2008)

It then rips the audio tracks, finally ending with:

[wav @ 0x82e9c50]max_analyze_duration reached
[wav @ 0x82e9c50]Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate
Input #0, wav, from '/usr/share/games/stratagus/wargus/music/track_17.wav':

 wargus
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

On the CD it says Warcraft II - Tides of Darkness - MS-DOS CD-ROM. There's no data on the CD indicating what region the game is from, but comparing the jewel case inlay with Mobygames it appears to be the UK one (it says Printed in Ireland on the bottom).
