IIRC that was something Robert did when I was receiving messages from
a client using Apple Mail where the attachments were embedded inside
poorly structured MIME. The workaround Robert provided was to enable
all MIME objects to be displayed so that you could select individual
'bits'. As you point out, this ws a workaround. I'm not sure what
happened to that functionality possibly the issue with Apple Mail
attachments was fixed and so the functionality was removed?
