the relevant messages in the *Messages buffer seem to be
Inlining text/html by emacs-w3m.
if I don't hit a key or move the mouse, this could take some 8 seconds, otherwise immediately. I'll take a look at emacs-w3m. I use the cvs version of emacs-w3m, and the last changelog entry is from 2010-03-12. cheers, E
