Parcellite doesn't support images, sounds, some scene copied from a videofile, et cetera. It only supports text. Last time I tried Parcellite it was very unstable. We don't need half baked workarounds. We don't want to install an application for every desktop environment (Glipper or Parcellite for GNOME, Klipper for KDE).
Like Guilhem says:
"Fix it in X, it gets fixed for everybody" (and drop glipper !)
There shouldn't be workarounds for every single desktop environment out there. It needs to be fixed at the core.
