Comment 61 for bug 98955

Just wanted to say that I installed Debian 5.0 a month ago and bootlogd worked perfectly by setting /etc/default/bootlogd to Yes. So, it's very strange that this seems to be such a large problem on my Ubuntu 8.04 server.
