Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
I can confirm that when using the package unity on Ubuntu 11.10 using the steps provided by Greg that I can reproduce the bug. Therefore I have set this bug to confirmed.
The steps I used to produce:
1) Open a window
2) Move the window so that the majority of the window is on another workspace
3) Deselected the window (By clicking on the desktop)
4) Reselect the window
Now notice the following:
- The window title is not shown in the Unity Panel
- If you click on an indicator and then move across the menu items can be accessed. But they can not be accessed by moving the mouse to the top of the screen.
- If you move to the other workspace everything works as normal.
