Comment 33 for bug 834248

That patch is a workaround that adapts (possibly) incorrect data coming from the core into a form which is expected by the wall plugin. While testing from my ppa shows it works fine I still don't think this is the way to properly fix it.
I can propose a branch though if it helps making progress on this bug.
