Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity
Whenever a second screen (tried with two different screens, 1920x1080 and 1280x1024) is attached, the display is completely distorted. I attached one example.
What happens is that the screen is immediately distorted, a part of the screen seems to be correct, other parts completely distorted. Some areas are only black and white like in the image.
I noticed that in some areas the mouse cursor appears, in others it doesn't. If I try to move a window around, in some areas it is drawn, in others it is not.
I also noticed something interesting: in some cases, in some areas, the distorted image is from something that shouldn't be on the screen, but that was on the screen some minutes ago, like the screen was somehow showing, with distortion, areas of memory containing old garbage.
This happens whenever I try to attach something in Unity. Doesn't happen with Gnome on the same system.
