Binary package hint: unity

This is on Ubuntu Natty, up-todate, on Lenovo Thinkpad T500 (Intel graphics, if it is important).

After I login, grabbing, middle clicking and double clicking on the panel does what it is supposed to (unmaximizes windows, cycles between them etc.). However, after some time after login, it stops responding to these actions. It usually happens in less then an hour but I was unable to find any more regularities. Tried to ask at askubuntu.com (as suggested by apport) but nobody answered, presumably because it is not happening to anyone else.
