Is this something that happens every time with this disk, or all disks? Can you do some more attempts at reproduction and let us know when it does and doesn't work?

How to reproduce:
1. Do a cold start or reboot, and start unity.
2. Click nautilus/home icon to start nautilus.
3. Mount the disk within nautilus and a disk icon appears in the launcher.
4. Click the new icon in the launcher, nautilus is launched but the launcher doesn't recognize that and the icon just keeps pulsating, i can close all other instances of nautilus prior to clicking the icon and it makes no difference.

This only happens for devices which don't have a icon in the launcher at startup and have to be mounted through nautilus.

Does this happen everytime:
Yes
