Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity
When we do a first-run setup of Unity, we currently look at Gnome Panel and Nautilus desktop for launchers of "favourite" apps to include in the Unity launcher.
This scan should be extended to cover other popular launchers, like AWN and Docky, in all their Cairo and GL-loving forms.
Most folks with a custom launcher, who upgrade from Maverick to Natty will no doubt want to stay with the latest version of that preferred launcher. But they may also want to try Unity, and when they do, it would be cool if their favourite apps are pre-populated in the launcher.
