Comment 9 for bug 691741

Once I've got the duplicate title bar by starting an application maximised (see comment #7) it doesn't matter how many times I restore the window to normal size and maximise again - there's always a duplicate.

However the following steps (continuing from those in comment #7) almost always gets rid of the duplicate title bar for me:

5) Restore the window to normal size (unmaximise).
6) Minimise the window.
7) Restore the window (unminimise).
8) Maximise the window.

I'm not sure if that's of any help but I thought it was odd that the maximise event is only handled correctly after a minimise. Also, note that the window must be restored to normal size first; minimising from a maximised state doesn't seem to make any difference.
