Bug Description
Using Maverick.
I see an icon for, say, inkscape, in the "Applications" menu.
I apt-get remove inkscape. I re-open the Applications page, and I still see the inkscape icon, which is still clickable.
I can click it, and the Applications menu goes away, making me think that it's trying to launch something, but of course, the app doesn't launch (since it's been removed).

Removing the app with apt or software centre should definitely also
remove the icon from the launcher, yes.
