Bug Description

This bug tracks the last UI changes selected to go into Unity. It serves as a master bug for the series of tweaks and missing icons required to complete the Maverick release of Unity.

It also serves as a vehicule for the UIF exception request process.

Has there been any development in this bug? It was mentioned on the translators list some time ago, and I'm wondering if it implies modifications to translations.

If it doesn't, it's fine, but if it does, we should remember to give translators time to actually translate any new strings, as we're past UI freeze and the translation deadline is drawig closer.


I don't think we're expecting string changes now, David, so folks can
relax and chase what's there for release.

Since the Beta Freeze, 4 weekly cuts have been made, each fixing a long list of issues:

This bug carries a UI change notice. UNE / Unity is not covered by the Ubuntu documentation, so does not require a formal UIF hack as far as i can tell from the process overview.

Upading the status for this task. The 0.2.42 release was uploaded on the 22nd, thanks to the Desktop team, and didrocks in particular.
