I have seen mutliple games that run in full screen (retroarch, steam games, prison architect) each runs fine works well, I can switch them to windowed mode no problem. But if the fullscreen program is open and I hit the super key to bring up the dash the screen totally freezes, clock and every element on the screen. even desktop notifications. I have tried using the other shells available to kill the apps and nothing helps, but killing compiz resets all the widows and leaves the one that was full screen as a black window (but I am able to get out of it now with window switcher/desktop switcher) |

I dont know what package but it affects retroarch and prison architect, not VLC, kodi, gimage, mcomix chrome,
