I do not think that this bug is fixed in Unity since the dependent bug 1280759 (Unity shortcuts (Super+A/F/M/C/V) do not work on non-latin layout in Trusty - shortcuts are defined via keyboard layout, not the keys) is not fixed.
So bug 1226962 is not fixed in Unity.
