Ubuntu 12.10 Beta

After clicking and reading the new 'legal notice' in the Unity dash each subsequent automated back-up would end with the following error message;

Could not back up the following files. Please make sure you are able to open them.
/home/[USERNAME]/.cache/unitydashlegalseen

Manually finding the file and changing the file permission to 'read and write' seems to have fixed the problem but I am assuming that having to do that is not the expected behaviour.

I have already changed the permissions manually to fix this issue on both my machines. If I get time to do a fresh install then I will update you

Keith, simply remove the file, logout/in and you should get the legal notice prompt in the dash, click it to re-create the file as per a new install/user then you can confirm this is fixed.

I deleted the file. Restarted the computer. Opened the dash. Selected the legal notice. Ran a backup. No error at the end of the backup.

So, for me, this is fixed.
