I have a 1.5 second delay when opening or closing with the Super key. All actions that include Super, such as Super + W (show all windows) have the same delay. Opening with four-finger tap on the touchpad or by clicking the dash icon on the launcher is much faster - instant.
Could it be a timeout set for detecting Super? Intel Graphics.
My old AMD APU had a much longer delay, like 2-3 seconds.
