Bug Description

this does seem similar to bug 995801, but I do not believe it is a dupe, and it is not fixed in current quantal trunk if it is.

I log into system, then run 'ccsm' to set up certain keybindings I like
viewport switcher -> got to specific viewport:
 <ctrl>-F1 : switch to viewport 1
 <ctrl>-F[2-6]: switch to viewport N

These get lost across reboot.

Commands -> [Commands for command-line-0,1] and 'Key Bindings' for 'Run command 0,1'
  <ctrl>-<shift>-U : /home/smoser/bin/ubu
 <ctrl>-shift-O: /home/smoser/bin/url-open

the 'command' portion of these get lost across leaving the 'commands' section (using 'back'). The keybinding gets lost across reboot.

Note, I've said reboot, but I have also verified that these settings get lost if I log out, log into console, kill unity related daemons that are still running, and log back in.

After upgrade to quantal:

I confirm. I have the same situation with "Switch to Workspace left" and "Switch to workspace right", which I bind on Thinkpad to XF86Back and XF86Forward.

Some other keys in Section "Launchers" seem to survive reboot.

Workaround for me:

# call these commands at desktop start, (put it into ~/.config/autostart or use gnome-session-properties as GUI)
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings switch-to-workspace-left "['XF86Back']"
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings switch-to-workspace-right "['XF86Forward']"

To find out the right key you might use dconf-editor as GUI.

Hmm... I'm unable to reproduce this in 15.10 because I can't find out what commands switch viewport and therefore can't set the keybindings in CCSM. Has this changed in later versions or is it just a failing on my part?
