Bug confirmed using these steps:
1. Open a terminal.
2. sleep 5 && xwininfo -all
3. Tap Super so the dash opens
4. Wait for the mouse pointer to change to a cross
5. Click on the dash
6. Close the dash.
7. Look in the terminal window where the window info has been dumped. You will see:

      Window type:
          Dock
