Comment 4 for bug 1309942

Unfortunately, the recent modifications to Unity resulted in the title bars being handled by unity itself, and the older setting org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences is not respected anymore.

I have been unable to locate any new key that might work. Any pointers appreciated, but since I have done a rather exhaustive check, I don't think there is any way to tweak it currently. Sorry folks!

This section will be disabled in Unity Tweak Tool for 14.04 and upwards. Please bug unity team to add a customizable setting. We can only flip switches they give us. Unless such a key is provided by unity, the window controls can't be moved.
