A better fix for GL_MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE would be in hardware. Which would require: 1. Fix bug 1040478. 2. Conditionally(?) load compiz plugin copytex to work around bug 824099. 3. Fix any remaining limitations/bugs in Nux/Unity.
