After latest update from daily-ppa in Natty (3.8.12-0ubuntu1~bzr626)
the indicator-appmenu in Nautilus became slow to open and switch from a menu to another.
In the other applications appmenu is fast, it seems to be slow only in nautilus.
Maybe it is related to rev 625 about fading window title in unity-panel?
If I remember well Nautilus export the menu in a different way from other apps. |
EDIT: Updated bug description because bug is present also in Oneiric.
The indicator-appmenu in Nautilus is slow to open and to switch from a menu to another.
Everytime I switch to another menu (File -> Edit -> ...) the content of the main nautilus windows is redrawn, "wasting" a lot of time.
You can see infact the file selection in file panel changes color (from orange to grey using ambiance theme) |
