I got exactly the same problem trying to generate "Ultimate Boot CD Version 5 RC1" from CD-Image "ubcd50RC1.iso" on a 4 GB USB-Stick using "unetbootin-eeeubuntu-windows-276.exe". Task Manager shows 100 % CPU Time during the hang up (about 2 minutes, Process Name "StickBootfromISO.exe")

Program: unetbootin-eeeubuntu-windows-276.exe
System: Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 3 + Upd. Nov. 2009
Source CD-Image: ubcd50RC1.iso (283 MB)
USB-Stick: 4 GBm bootable
