Same problem on two different machines, one running Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit and one running Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit, with two different external USB drives. On Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit I am running 581 from the UNetbootin site; on Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit I am running 575 from the Universe repository.

Any ideas for troubleshooting I could do?
