Any status on this? It would be really useful to set intermediate point, basically to select alternative route.

Google, for example, provides 3 alternative routes for my trip, and I can select which one is more appropriate for my taste, but with OSM we have only one option. Adding intermediate point before/after calculating final route would overcome this issue.
