I would still stick with Gubuntu.

The trademark policy sais something like:

"Where the changes from the official Ubuntu product are minimal the Ubuntu trademarks may be used, but only to identify that the system is based on or built on Ubuntu"

As GNOME 3 is now part of the official repos and even installable on a 'normal' desktop installation, the changes are really minimal.

I have also asked the Community Council if there are realistic chances for an 'official' GNOME Ubuntu spin.
