I recommend the name: [de.] 'Genom' or [eng.] 'Genome'. Both are hint's at gnome and the first one is a anagram of it.
For heredity used in molecular biology, it seems to fit the current situation. ;)

p.s.: In Greek, the word genome (γίνομαι) means "I become, I am born, to come into being"
