See 'man ufw' and 'man ufw-framework' for specifics with ufw. You can see 'man iptables-restore' and 'man iptables-save' for how to use iptables-restore, but they doesn't discuss the syntax. In general, iptables-restore syntax is simply 'iptables' rules without 'iptables' prepended to the line. You do have to make sure that the different tables get setup properly, and that is where the ufw man pages can help a bit.
