"My/Your downloads" UI has no indication that a download is finished

I purchased 4 mp3s and they appear to be "stuck" -- there is no download progress, yet have remained in my downloads page.

Er, I just clicked on one and it magically started playing. :P I guess they *did* download, but I'm not sure when. Perhaps the UI could be improved to indicate that they've finished downloading?

How LONG does this take? It seems horribly broken at the moment. Only way I got the song I bought was to download it via the web client.

gorkon: is your bug #544622? Kees's bug is about not indicating successful downloads, rather than downloads not occurring at all.

Kees, the UI does show the downloading progress bar and flash "Download completed", if you're watching it when the download actually completes. If you go back to it later, though, it may be more difficult to tell the difference between a download that's not yet started and a download that's completed. Assigning to design team for comment.

Aq: it never downloads to my system. I had to download the song from
the web interface. So yeah that probably is it. Sorry for confusing
things! Lots of bugs coming in since the release!

The supplied design was very clear on what should happen - the downloads that are finished should use dark text color, the pending downloads should use light gray, along with the correct status text (ie. "Preparing your download").

Maybe adding a "Downloaded on $DATE"? For me, the issue was that the
download stuck at some point a few weeks ago, so I never saw it continue
past "Preparing your download...". At some point between then and now, I
guess it actually happened, but when I opened it again, it wasn't obvious
that it had done anything.
