Assigning to Didier since he was the suggested person to contact in order to have Ubuntu One control panel linked as a 'favorite application' in the launcher.

Ubuntu One control panel provides the .desktop file located at:

/usr/share/applications/ubuntuone-control-panel-gtk.desktop

(binary package required is ubuntuone-control-panel-gui)
