hi, thank you for the reply. i had an upgrade problem from 9.04 to 9.10 with wireless (AR928X) connectivity troubles until complete crashes. it is reported somewhere that there is a problem with the kernel versions 2.6.30 and 2.6.31 and ATH9K. installing backports (incl. kervel's) solved the problem completely in the meantime. no more troubles, also with ubuntu one which i also started anew. best wishes, r.
