A temporary workaround is to create a new local calendar and just save the .ics file in the Ubuntu One folder (by ticking customise options and setting the file path). Then on your other computers, once Ubuntu One has synchronised the calendar file, you create a new local calendar and point to the existing .ics file.

However, I would like calendar synchronization to be fully integrated.
