Comment 3 for bug 637385

Although I do not have a strong opinion one way or another. I doubt we can have a setting that will make everyone happy, but you, as a user, can opt to show or hide sigs.

User CP -> Options -> visible Post Elements -> disable "show Signatures"

You may disable avatars and images also if you wish.
