Bug Description
Clicking on the "Sign in or register" link on the header while being in the My Apps tab makes the Ubuntu SSO login prompt to appear and upon successful registration, the text on the header to change to the logged in state and to show links to the account.
That does not happen on any of the other pages on developer.

To post a comment you must log in.
I notice that when you do sign in, you move to a new subdomain: /myapps. developer. ubuntu. com/dev/ click-apps/
https:/
Whereas the normal domain is: developer. ubuntu. com/
http://
And that while the two look similar, they are not. Indeed the banner of myapps.d.u.com lacks recent changes (like the Start menu, and it still has the Cloud menu, which is retired from the main site.)
I filed this to track this issue: https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/developer- portal/ +bug/1315053
There, I propose changing the myapps banner to be very different from dev.u.com, thus making it clear that when you log in, you are on a different site. This would eliminate the confusion of seeing "Sign in..." when you are on dev.u.com.
As such, I am making this bug a duplicate of the new one.
