Okay...so how do I manually set the ipv4.dns-priority to be negative? Sorry, but it's not clear how to do this, a stepwise solution would be appreciated.
If this cannot be accomplished manually and the network manager already sets the ipv4.dns-priority as negative for the vpn connection-id, it's clearly not working, as there are apparent DNS leaks (as shown above and by many other users in the launchpad thread) using network-manager-openvpn with systemd-resolved as the DNS manager.
