backuppc-3.3.1-2ubuntu3 fails to backup any Samba shares on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS

Upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS, its latest backuppc-3.3.1-2ubuntu3 and Samba 2:4.3.9+dfsg-0.

Due to a change in Samba's output, any backup attempted via smbclient will fail.

There is a suggested fix, but I haven't checked it:

FYI the fix is now upstream released in version 3.3.2
But zesty is already frozen and also Debian didn't pick the newer version up yet.

Time to create SRUs and test them as soon as somebody finds time.

Some detail on the setup that can reproduce the issue (more than backup from samba) could help to make this easier.
