Not sure if this is important, but I can notice the following: if I switch to the second (or any other than me) logged user (Ctrl + Alt + F8), it works normally. I can, then, in second Xorg session, select my user from indicators and then log in.

And, I'm not sure if this is related, but appears that all the times this happens, Unity dash launcher don't display icons for any application (see attached screenshot).
