Can you test v3.13 final:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.13-trusty/

If it fails, we can "Reverse" bisect between v3.13 and v3.14-rc1. If v3.13 final boots fine, then that would indicate an Ubuntu specific SAUCE patch causing the bug.
