Hi there,

I have a MacBook Air 6,2 that fails to boot normally.
Intel Core i7-4650U 1.7Ghz
8GB RAM
128GB SSD

Boot is halted similarly at: smpboot Booting Node 0, Processorts #1 - see screenshot attached.

Appending nosmp allows successful boot.
