Comment 79 for bug 162671

I have been doing some work on this driver recently.

Patches to get this driver up and running again on x86 are slowly filtering down the stable kernels.

However, the driver on 64 bit should be blacklisted, the driver does not work and will hang on probing. A patch to fix the hang has been posted to next/stable.

I have got the driver running on 64 bit with unsecured connections but there is still a nasty deadlock on with wpa supplicant.
