I was happy to report that I did *not* find it in Lubuntu Saucy Beta 2 :-)

@Lance: Where and how do you see this bug in a current version of Saucy? Did it come back again, or is it only in Ubuntu Gnome? What do you mean by 'running the installation from the main menu'?
